We never had plans to use a longer version of 'In the Flame' in Pyre - we quite simply didn't have room. It's a very similar case to 'We All Become', from our previous game, Transistor, where the full-length version of the track was created after development was complete, and intended as an exclusive bonus for the soundtrack. The trailer edit of 'In the Flame' is in fact the original version, and the only version we planned to use in the game, for whatever that's worth.
